Public Opinions is the first organization in Uganda to appreciate, deepen and promote the principles of the United Nations Global Compact. This is done through a number of activities among others; Public Dialogues, Seminars and workshops, corporate visiting, corporate watch, exchange programs, consumer rights Literacy fair, etc.On 29th September 2009,

Public Opinions jointly with the Uganda Investment Authority organized the 1st Public Dialogue on the United Nations Global and was held at Hotel Africana, Kampala. The dialogue was attended by investment ventures, civil society organizations, academia, religious leaders, youth leaders, university students, etc. Public Opinions also published and disseminated a publication titled “Understanding Corporate Social Responsibility and the United Nations Global Compact” which is containing statements on CSR from among others;His Lordship the Chief Justice of the Republic of Uganda (Benjamin Odoki), Cabinet Minister Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development (Hon Hajjat Syda Bbumba), Cabinet Minister for Information and National Guidance of the Republic of Uganda (Hon Princess Kabakumba Matsiko), The Auditor General of the Republic of Uganda (John Muwanga),Executive Director-Uganda Investment Authority (Prof Maggie Kigozi),etc. Please explore links for more information; http://www.unglobalcompact.org/
