Public Opinions commonly known as Directorate of Public Opinions started its operations in 2002 at Makerere University as a student’s forum for advocacy, research and a Study Group on key issues of National and Global concern. In 2008, the organization was incorporated by the Registrar of Companies-Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs of the Republic of Uganda as a Civil Society Organization advocating, promoting and strengthening the core values of democracy and good governance, human rights, sustainable peace and development and reform of the United Nations as it was reaffirmed by World Leaders during the 2005 World Leaders Forum.
Vision Mission To advocate, promote and strengthen the core values of Democracy and Good Governance, Human Rights, Sustainable Peace and Development in Africa and enhance the relevancy and effectiveness of the United Nations organization.. |
